Introduction to the Qualification

The TQUK Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual. After 1 December 2020, any new registrations will be made against a qualification that is not regulated by Qualifications Wales. The Qualifications Wales logo will appear on any certificates for learners registered prior to this date, where applicable.

Qualification Purpose

This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom or other training environment other than assessing competence in a work environment. There must be evidence to cover all of the assessment methods listed in the units.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 18 years of age and above.

Progression

Successful learners can progress through the suite of qualifications included in this specification and further to other qualifications, such as the TQUK Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice (RQF).
